1. The service
Decodoc is a local-first mobile app that explains and translates documents to help you understand them in your language. Features, availability, and limits may change as the product evolves.
2. Not professional advice
Decodoc does not provide legal, financial, medical, tax, or official administrative advice. Outputs are informational and may be incomplete or incorrect. You remain solely responsible for decisions you make based on documents or Decodoc outputs. For regulated matters, consult a qualified professional or the relevant authority.
3. AI, backend, and third parties
The service may rely on Decodoc’s backend and third-party providers (including AI). Results depend on models, connectivity, and provider availability. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or fit-for-a-particular-purpose performance.
4. Local-first storage
By default, documents and derived content stay on your device. Sending content to our backend or AI happens only when you explicitly start analysis, translation, or related processing, as described in the Privacy Policy and document processing disclosure.
5. Subscriptions and payments
Paid features (when offered) will be billed through Apple App Store and/or Google Play with RevenueCat as the entitlement layer, subject to store rules. Fees, renewals, and cancellations are managed through your store account. If Decodoc account deletion is offered separately, it does not automatically cancel store subscriptions unless stated otherwise in the final terms.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse Decodoc, including: violating law; infringing others’ rights; attempting to break security or quotas; uploading malware; harassing others; or using the service to generate unlawful or harmful content at scale. We may suspend or terminate access for breach or risk.
7. Intellectual property
You retain rights in your documents. We retain rights in the app, branding, and software. Licence grants to you will be specified in the final terms.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is”. Liability caps and exclusions will be set with counsel for your markets.
9. Governing law and disputes
To be finalized with counsel (including consumer mandatory rights).
10. Changes
We will post updated terms and, where required, prompt new acceptance when we make material changes.
